Quick polish
The car is really coming together now, even gave it a quick polish ready for a customer visit tomorrow. 
Feels Like Christmas
Feels like Christmas here after 3 large boxes of shiny new parts arrived. Just waiting on new carbs coming from the states and will now only need a few small bits to complete this car. 
Next Project
With the SP nearing completion the next project has arrived at the workshop. Looks like my own MK1 FF restoration stays on a back burner and I will be busy with another MK1 FF.
I have now got the excitement of the finishing stages of the SP whilst looking forward to starting on another great car with an owner happy to go all the way with a full nut and bolt rebuild .
More Progress On The SP
The SP engine and box are now in after all engine bay jobs completed, the rear screen is also fitted giving the car back its beautiful shape at the rear.
Very pleased with the progress just 3 months after getting the car back from the paintshop but no time to slow down as the deadline is approaching and the next project will be arriving in a couple of weeks.
SP out in the sun
Got the SP out in the sun today to see what the paintwork looks like in daylight. Love the Reef Blue which will work well with the new vinyl roof and black interior.
